Our bowling activities consist of open bowling, youth bowling, adult league bowling, college night bowling, high school league bowling, and tournament bowling.
Open Bowling Times
Open bowling is open to the public Monday - Sunday from 11 am to close. We have bumpers and ramps available if needed to help yourger bowlers.
These are standard hours for open bowling we reserve the right to change these hours due to large groups or tournament play.
Note: We do not reserve lanes ahead of time, open bowling lanes are assigned on a first come basis. Always call ahead, lanes may be not available due to league bowling, tournaments, or parties. Prices are subject to change without notice.
We have several bowling specials that we run on a periodic basis.

Special Bowling Events
College Night Bowling
Take a break from studying on Tuesday nights from 10pm to midnight. Take advantage of our ALL-U-CAN BOWL night for only $7.00, shoe rental is extra.
Friday Night Frenzy Bowling
Unwind after a long week of work every Friday night from 10pm to close. Take advantage of our ALL-U-CAN BOWL night for only $11.00, shoe rental is extra. This includes free pizza and pop, great music and an awesome light show. Bring your student ID and get FREE shoe rental.
Moonlight Bowling
Moonlight bowling is seasonal and typically starts in Sept. and runs thru March. Contact Paul Bunyan Bowl for more information.
Youth Bowling
Youth of all ages can get involved with bowling through our youth bowling league. Contact Paul Bunyan Bowl for more information.
Adult League Bowling
If you are interested in joining an adult bowling league we have many to choose from.
High School League Bowling
Looking for a winter sport then join our high school bowling league. This consists of Brainerd High School Varsity and Junior Varsity teams. Practices are held twice a week and competition is on Saturdays. Players can letter in this sport just like any other varsity sport.
Tournament Bowling
Participate in individual, doubles, or team tournaments. We have a city tournament and Heartland Tournament.

Question: How many people can bowl on one lane?
Answer: 6 bowlers max can bowl per lane
Question: How long does a game take to bowl?
Answer: 10 minutes per game per person. 3 people would be 30 minutes, 4 bowlers would be 40 minutes.
Question: Do we have to wear bowling shoes?
Answer: Yes. Bowling shoes are required if you don’t have your own pair of certified bowling shoes. We rent shoes from children’s size 6 youth to men’s size 16. We do have ladies shoes and half sizes past size 5.
Question: What forms of payment do you accept?
Answer: We accept Cash (obviously) along with Debit and Credit Cards. The credit cards we accept are Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. We do accept local checks only.
Question: Can I bring in outside food or beverage?
Answer: No outside food or beverage is permitted at Paul Bunyan Bowl without approval from the Manager. The only exception is cake and/or ice cream for Birthday Parties.
Question: Is your bowling center non-smoking?
Answer: Paul Bunyan Bowl is 100% non-smoking all the time. If you do have to smoke please do not go outside in the rental bowling shoes.
Question: How to pick a ball?
Answer: Use a ball that weighs close to 1/10 of your body weight. If you weigh 100, lbs. use a 10lb ball. Your thumb should go all the way into the ball for a good fit. The fingers and thumb should touch all the way around the holes without being tight. We offer rental balls in weights ranging from 6lbs to 16lbs. The center staff will assist you in ball selection and will get the 6 lb. ball for the young.
Question: How many games do I want to bowl?
Answer: That is up to you. Paul Bunyan Bowl offers per game rates only. A general rule is 3 games per person over 10 and 2 games for 10 and younger.
Question: Do you have bumpers?
Answer: We have bumpers. Please inform the counter staff who in your party requires bumpers.
